Biography

Mehmet S. Ozcan, MD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at Yale University, specializing in neurosurgical critical care anesthesiology. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa School of Medicine in Turkey and completed his anesthesiology residency and fellowship training in critical care medicine at the University of Florida. Dr. Ozcan has practiced as a neuroanesthesiologist and neurointensivist at the University of Illinois Chicago and the University of Oklahoma before joining Yale. He is a longtime member of the Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care (SNACC), where he serves on the scientific affairs committee.
