Biography

Mehrnaz Tahmasbi Arashlow is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Pre-doctoral Program Director in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Kerman University of Medical Sciences, Iran, and went on to earn a Certificate in Oral Maxillofacial Radiology from the University of Florida. Dr. Tahmasbi Arashlow's work has been published in leading dental journals, addressing critical aspects of cone-beam computed tomography and its application in assessing the prevalence of middle mesial canals in mandibular molars as well as radiographic manifestations of Mönckeberg arteriosclerosis. She is recognized by the American Academy of Oral Maxillofacial Radiology, receiving the Howard R. Raper Award in September 2016 for her contributions to the field. Her expertise also includes specialty training and board certifications in oral and maxillofacial radiology, making her a valuable asset to the educational and clinical community at Texas A&M University.
