Biography

Meimanat Hosseini-Chavoshi is an accomplished scholar in the field of Demography, holding a PhD from the Australian National University. Her research focuses on key areas such as fertility, population ageing, family planning, reproductive health, and fertility forecasting. She has been involved in numerous projects addressing complex demographic issues, including the decision-making processes of irregular migration, and her work has contributed significantly to the understanding of population projections and survey design. Dr. Hosseini-Chavoshi has collaborated with various institutions and researchers, enhancing her impact on the academic community. She has served as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne since July 2016.
