Biography

Melanie Barwick is a Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from McGill University and has extensive experience in the areas of implementation science and knowledge translation, particularly in children’s mental health. Throughout her career, Barwick has received various accolades, including the John Westbrook Award for Knowledge Translation. She is internationally recognized for her contributions to research practice in health services and aims to bridge the gap between evidence and practice for better health outcomes.
