Biography

Mélanie Dieudé is an immunologist based at the Research Centre of the University Hospital of Montreal (CRCHUM) and serves as the Scientific Operations Director of the Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program (CDTRP). She earned her PhD from the University of Montreal in 2004 and completed postdoctoral fellowships at McGill University from 2005 to 2009, and at the University of Montreal from 2009 to 2011. Recipient of several honors, including the Scientist of the Year award by La Presse in 2017 and the Young Investigator Award from the American Transplant Congress in 2011, Dr. Dieudé was recruited in 2011 by Dr. Marie-Josée Hébert to her transdisciplinary research group. Her research focuses on characterizing the impact of tissue damage on autoimmune responses critical to graft rejection, graft-versus-host disease, autoimmune diseases, and cardiovascular diseases. She has been contributing to the scientific development and integration of CDTRP since 2014.
