Biography

Melanie Dubard is currently the Clinical Director at Bradley School-South County in Wakefield, Rhode Island. She earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in August 2004. Dr. Dubard has extensive training completed through a predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute affiliated with the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. She has worked as a psychologist in the Division of Developmental Pediatrics, Rehabilitation, and Metabolic Diseases at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Following her time in Baltimore, Dr. Dubard served as a school psychologist in a K-8 school program at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and transitioned to the role of Vice President of Clinical Educational Services at a facility in Randolph, Massachusetts. Her research interests focus on working with individuals exhibiting severe behaviors, offering behavioral consultation, supervision, and modifying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions for children with autism and developmental disabilities.
