Biography

Mélanie Samson, LL.B, LL.M., LL.D. (Laval), is a full professor at Laval University's Faculty of Law, where she serves as the Director of the journal Les Cahiers de droit. Her main areas of research and teaching include legal methodology and human rights and freedoms. She has been a member of the Quebec Bar and served as an assessor at the Quebec Human Rights Tribunal from 2011 to 2021.
