Biography

Melanie Walls is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia and the Scientific Director at Concept Fertility Centre in Subiaco, Western Australia. With 18 years of industry expertise in IVF laboratories, she specializes in In Vitro Maturation (IVM). Dr. Walls earned her Doctorate from UWA in 2016 and has published numerous articles in high-impact journals, including Human Reproduction, and authored textbook chapters. She is a co-leader of the RAINE Foundation Hormonal Reproduction Special Interest Group and serves as a lead immigration skills assessor for IVF scientists at the Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientists (AIMS).
