Biography

Melina Llodra has over 20 years of experience in international business law, specializing in negotiation and drafting cross-border mergers and acquisitions as well as joint ventures. She assists large and complex compliance projects, focusing on internal investigations and the management of compliance programs. With more than a decade of experience as counsel at LALIVE in Geneva, Switzerland, and as senior counsel at McKinsey Latam, she is recognized for her expertise in compliance and risk management. Melina holds an LL.M. from the University of Illinois in the United States and is a certified Compliance Ethics Professional - International (CCEP-I) and a certified expert in auditing ISO 37001. She is a member of several associations including the International Bar Association, where she serves as an officer on the Compliance committee, and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE). Additionally, Melina is actively involved with the Rosario Bar Association in Argentina and the Swiss Argentine Chamber of Commerce’s Compliance Committee. As a lecturer at the Fribourg University School of Law in the Master of Laws (LL.M.) program, she also speaks at international conferences on topics such as anti-corruption and international contracts.
