Biography

Melinda J. Anderson, PharmD, BS, RVT, is the Assistant Dean of Veterinary Technology Programs and a Clinical Associate Professor at Purdue University's College of Veterinary Medicine. With a background as a registered veterinary technician, she graduated from Purdue's Veterinary Technology program in 2003. Melinda has extensive experience working in private practice and has spent 11 years teaching at Purdue University's Veterinary Hospital. In 2018, she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and subsequently completed a one-year residency specializing in Veterinary Pharmacy. Currently, Dr. Anderson consults on medication utilization for both large and small animals within the Veterinary Hospital. In addition to her professional commitments, she enjoys watching her daughters play volleyball, riding horses, and spending time with friends and family.
