Biography

Melinda Wuest is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. She obtained her doctoral degree in inorganic coordination chemistry from the Department of Chemistry at a university in Germany, followed by a postdoctoral position in radiochemistry at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, USA. Additionally, she focuses on preclinical tumor models and has notable research in PET imaging related to breast, prostate, ovarian, colon cancer, and renal cell carcinoma.
