Melissa Murphy is a Distinguished Service Professor of Marketing at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, where she teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in Integrated Marketing Communications, New Product Development, Innovation, and Brand Management. Her accolades include being awarded the “Best Executive” by the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, the Pittsburgh Business Women Business Award, and being a finalist for the Greater Pittsburgh ATHENA Award. In recognition of her achievements during Women’s History Month, the City of Pittsburgh honored her with a proclamation declaring “Melissa Murphy Day.”
