Dr. Melody Baldwin

Biography

Dr. Melody Baldwin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University. She completed her residency training at Duke University School of Medicine specializing in obstetrics and gynecology from 2010 to 2014. Dr. Baldwin holds a Master of Public Health from Harvard University and a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School, both earned in 2010. Her professional activities include faculty development focusing on developing an anti-racism curriculum, and she has been involved with various committees such as the Search Committee for the Associate Dean of Curricular Affairs. Baldwin has worked on implementing peer-led support groups to address racism and promote wellness among faculty trainees and has designed curricula focusing on the social determinants of health for students and residents in obstetrics and gynecology. She has been actively involved in initiatives addressing reproductive rights in North Carolina and has participated in professional seminars aimed at advancing educational development within the field of gynecology and obstetrics.
