Biography

Mengshi Lu joined Purdue University in August 2014 as an Associate Professor. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an M.A. in Statistics from the same institution. He also obtained an M.Eng. in Management Science Engineering and a B.Eng. in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University. His current research interests focus on supply chain risk management, innovative operations, and project management. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses that cover a variety of topics including operations management, logistics, project management, and supply chain analytics. His expertise also extends to decision sciences, inventory management, and transportation.
