Biography

Mengyuan Mu is a Research Associate at the Science Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes (CLEX) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). She began her postdoctoral research at the Climate Change Research Centre at UNSW in 2022. Mengyuan's work largely focuses on understanding land surface processes and land-atmosphere interactions, as well as developing and applying land surface modeling techniques to improve our knowledge of climate extremes. Her research aims to contribute to enhanced predictive capabilities of climate impacts on terrestrial ecosystems.
