Biography

Mette Kaasgaard is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Denmark. She holds a PhD focused on Singing Pulmonary Rehabilitation for individuals with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), completed at Aarhus University. Currently, her research focus has expanded to include the efficacy and underlying mechanisms of singing interventions for lung diseases. Mette Kaasgaard has been actively engaged in theoretical studies and international collaborations. She serves as an Assistant Professor at Zealand University Hospital and has ongoing projects related to singing and respiratory health.
