Biography

Professor Mette Morsing is the Director of the Oxford Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford, focusing on business sustainability. Her research expertise encompasses organization theory and corporate sustainability, particularly in governance, strategy, communication, and identity in cross-sector partnerships. She has led initiatives at the Smith School, emphasizing the impact of education on nature and contributes to prominent climate events, including the London Climate Action Week and COP30. As a Fellow of St Edmund Hall, she also holds several international board positions and honorary fellowships in institutions like Rotterdam School of Management and Kings College London. Morsing has previously served as the head of the Principles for Responsible Management Education at the UN Global Compact, significantly advancing sustainability leadership in education with over 800 signatory institutions. With a rich background that includes professorships at Copenhagen Business School and Stockholm School of Economics, she is recognized for her contributions to sustainable development research and has received various international accolades.
