Biography

Mi Lu is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Rice University in 1987 and her M.S. from the same institution in 1984. Her research interests encompass several areas including Computer Arithmetic, Parallel Computing, Distributed Processing, Computer Architectures, Computer Networks, Computational Geometry, and VLSI Algorithms. She has received multiple awards for her contributions to the field, including the Innovative Award at the International Conference on Computational Science and Computational Intelligence (CSCI 2019). Additionally, she was recognized as a Who's Who in America and has been a Faculty Fellow at the Dwight Look College of Engineering during the 2002-2003 academic year. Mi Lu is active in her research and educational endeavors and continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of electrical and computer engineering.
