Biography

Mia Marine is a musician, pedagogue, and composer with extensive experience in both contemporary and traditional music. At the University of Gothenburg, she teaches students about their main instrument, ensemble methods, arranging, and music theory. With years dedicated to touring and performing, she has worked with a variety of bands and projects, including the Marine/Pérez Trio (MP3), Marine & Roswall, and Lena Willemark's "Blåferdi." In addition to her teaching, Mia has developed her own online academy starting in 2020, through which she conducts lessons and communicates with musicians worldwide. Mia has also been involved in arranging and composing for various festivals and organizations, including the Førde festival and multiple choirs and cultural institutions.
