Dr. Michael Alperovich

Biography

Michael Alperovich, MD, MSc, FACS, is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Plastic division at Yale School of Medicine. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. Dr. Alperovich is the Co-Director of the Craniofacial Surgery program at Yale, with advanced training in congenital craniofacial conditions, including cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis, and ear reconstruction. With a wealth of experience, he performs a variety of aesthetic procedures such as facelift, otoplasty, and breast augmentation. A magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University, he also holds a Master's degree from the University of Oxford and an MD from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Alperovich has authored over 225 publications and serves on editorial boards for several plastic surgery journals. He has been recognized as a 'Top Doctor' by Connecticut Magazine and New York Magazine for his contributions to the field. Additionally, he is involved in community service as a member of the United States Air Force Auxiliary.
