Biography

Mike Arsenault completed graduate work in philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley. He joined the TIDA Project (Text Idea Aristotle’s Science Living Things) as a postdoctoral researcher and was a scientific assistant in the Philosophy Neuroscience Group at the University of Tübingen. His primary research interests lie in ancient theories of perception, particularly those proposed by Aristotle. Additionally, he maintains active research interest in the philosophy of perception and the philosophy of mind more broadly. Currently, his project focuses on perceptible qualities and the structure of the perceptible world as understood through Aristotle's lens.
