Michael Ashburn, MD, MPH, MBA, is a distinguished Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He specializes in Pain Management and is recognized for his extensive contributions to the field. Dr. Ashburn has undergone rigorous training, earning his MD from the University of South Alabama School of Medicine, and completing his residency at the University of Alabama Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at the University of Utah Medical Center. He has been honored as one of Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Docs multiple times for his exemplary work in Pain Medicine. His clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of conditions including chronic pain, arthritis pain, post-surgical pain, and various musculoskeletal pain syndromes.
