Biography

Michael Blower is a Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He received his B.A. from Miami University (Ohio) and his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego, under the mentorship of Gary Karpen. He is a recipient of the Burroughs-Wellcome Fund Career Award in Biomedical Sciences and has received numerous NIH grants for his research projects, including those investigating chromatin-RNA interactions throughout the cell cycle. Blower's collaborative work is well recognized in the academic community, with multiple publications detailing his significant contributions to the fields of biochemistry and cell biology.
