Biography

Michael Bridge is an Emeritus Professor of Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), having joined the faculty in 2007. He has previously held chairs at McGill University, the University of Nottingham, and University College London, where he was also the Dean of the Faculty of Laws. In addition to his teaching positions, he has served as a visiting professor at numerous prestigious institutions, including the University of Leeds, University of Malaya, University of Hong Kong, and Monash University in Australia. His scholarly contributions are widely recognized, including being elected as a Fellow of the British Academy in 2013 and appointed as a King's Counsel (honoris causa) in 2017.
