Biography

Michael Cameron is a Professor in the School of Accounting, Finance, and Economics at the University of Waikato. He serves as a Research Associate at Te Ngira Institute of Population Research and holds the position of Director of Teaching and Learning in the School of Accounting, Finance, and Economics. Cameron was a Visiting Fellow at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health during 2015-16. He has held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of the Population Association of New Zealand and Vice President of the Australia New Zealand Regional Science Association International. His editorial contributions include serving as co-editor for the Australasian Journal of Regional Studies and associate editor for the Journal of Economic Surveys.
