Biography

Michael D. Dake is Thelma Henry Doelger Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree at Harvard College and graduated from Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Dake has a distinguished career pioneering work in the areas of endovascular procedures and cardiovascular interventional radiology. His leadership contributed significantly to the development of innovative techniques for treating aortic diseases, particularly acute aortic syndromes.
