Michael Domjan is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin and has served as the Department Chair from 1999 to 2005. He was the founding Director of the Imaging Research Center from 2005 to 2008. Domjan's research focuses on classical conditioning, sexual conditioning, and taste aversion learning. He has received numerous accolades, including the D. O. Hebb Distinguished Scientific Contributions Award from Division 6 of the American Psychological Association, and an honorary doctorate from Konrad Lorenz University in Bogotá, Colombia. Domjan is also a past president of the Pavlovian Society and the Division of Behavioral Neuroscience and Comparative Psychology of the American Psychological Association.
