Biography

Michael G. Earing is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Chicago, specializing in adult congenital heart disease and related cardiogenetics. He completed his medical education at Rush University, followed by internal medicine and pediatric residency training. He furthered his expertise with training in adult congenital heart disease and pediatric cardiology at the Mayo Clinic. In 2020, he was named a Professor in both internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Chicago-Medicine and also serves as the Chief of Cardiology at the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance, collaborating with several healthcare institutions. His research interests encompass a variety of topics within adult congenital heart disease, emphasizing clinical outcomes and innovative treatment approaches. Earing continues to contribute significantly to the field through his clinical practice and research endeavors.
