Professor Dr. Michael Ebright

Biography

Michael Ebright is an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and has an extensive background in thoracic surgery. He previously served as faculty at Boston University School of Medicine for six years. Currently, he directs the Center for Thoracic Oncology and co-directs the Lung CyberKnife Program at Columbia. He is actively involved in clinical practice at Stamford Hospital, a partner site of Columbia, where he sees patients with complex thoracic conditions. Dr. Ebright has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to book chapters on a variety of topics related to thoracic surgery. He has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in Boston, New York, and Connecticut, highlighting his expertise in managing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, lung cancer surgery, and general thoracic surgery.
