Biography

Professor Michael Ferry is the Head of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at UNSW Sydney with extensive experience in academia and research. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering with Honors at the University of Wollongong in 1989, followed by a PhD in 1994 at the University of New South Wales. Since then, Michael has held several academic positions, including Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor before becoming a full Professor in 2008.
