Biography

Michael Fialkow MD, MPH is a distinguished professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Washington, specializing in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. He earned his MD from the University of Washington in 1997 and his MPH in Epidemiology from the same institution in 2006. He completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at UW in 2001, followed by a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery in 2004. Dr. Fialkow has been recognized as one of Seattle Magazine's Top Doctors in 2020 and holds board certifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Fialkow's research focuses on the recurrence of pelvic floor disorders, optimal teamwork in surgical settings, and surgical simulation. He is actively involved in the American Urogynecologic Society and the International Continence Society.
