Dr. Michael James

Biography

Michael Lucas James is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University, where he also serves as an Assistant Vice Chancellor and is involved with the Duke-NUS Research Institute. With a focus on neuroanesthesia and neurointensive care, he has a special interest in translational research concerning intracerebral hemorrhage and traumatic brain injury. Dr. James is affiliated with the Duke Clinical Research Institute and has been at the forefront of several significant research initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes in these critical areas.
