Dr. Michael Kregar

Biography

Michael Kregar is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Accounting department at Purdue University's Daniels School of Business. He teaches a variety of accounting courses including Advanced Financial Accounting, International Accounting, and Advanced International Accounting, alongside an experiential learning class focused on Accounting Consulting Entrepreneurship for MSA students. Prior to his role at Purdue, Michael worked as a Research Associate and Teaching Assistant in the Accounting & Management Unit at Harvard Business School in Boston. He earned his Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Manchester and holds a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University. Michael is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in North Dakota and is a member of the North Dakota CPA Society. Before entering academia, he built a substantial career in senior management roles in finance and accounting, serving as CFO of Neurotune AG, European Controller at Biolife Baxter Healthcare, and Financial Controller at Energis Carrier Services Europe. Michael's career began with AT&T Corp., where he took on various finance roles including Senior Corporate Auditor for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, based in London, UK.
