Biography

Michael Kremer is a University Professor in the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago. He has been with the institution since 2020 and serves as the Director of the Development Innovation Lab and Faculty Director of the Development Economics Center. Kremer's research primarily focuses on development economics, field experiments, and critical areas such as education, health, water, and agriculture in developing countries.
