Biography

Michael Jihoon Lee, MD, is a professor in Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Chicago. He specializes in degenerative spine disorders and minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Lee is an expert spine surgeon who treats spinal injuries, complex tumors, and degenerative conditions. He has worked extensively on identifying risk factors associated with post-operative lumbar spondylolisthesis and enhancing surgical techniques for lumbar spine surgery. In addition to his clinical practice, he plays an active role in medical education, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
