Biography

Michael McGregor is an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics and Public Administration at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) and serves as the Undergraduate Program Director for Politics Governance (BA). He obtained his PhD in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario and has a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from the University of Guelph. Prior to joining TMU in July 2016, he was an Assistant Professor at Bishop's University in Sherbrooke. His research interests encompass a range of questions associated with the study of elections and voters in Canada, with a particular emphasis on local-level issues. He is also engaged with topics such as Canadian politics, political psychology, and research methodology.
