Biography

Dr. Michael Quach serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 20 years of administrative and clinical experience. Dr. Quach completed his medical training at Stanford University School of Medicine and his psychiatric residency at Stanford Hospital and Clinics, where he also served as Chief Resident in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He was a recipient of the prestigious Stanford George Gulevich Humanistic Medicine Award in 2006, further affirming his commitment to excellence in the field. Dr. Quach is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He currently holds leadership positions in several organizations, including being the President of the Vietnamese Physician Association of Northern California and the Viet-American Mental Health Network. His clinical focus includes Psychiatry, Psychopharmacology, and Psychotherapy. In addition to his academic roles, he has extensive community work experience, serving as Chief Operating Officer and Medical Director at Mekong Community Center and various other leadership roles in mental health organizations in San Jose, CA.
