Biography

Dr. Rosenblum joined Texas A&M University Center for Translational Cancer Research as a Senior Professor. He transferred the Immunopharmacology Targeted Therapy research program from the Department of Experimental Therapeutics at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Rosenblum describes the pharmacological behavior of recombinant biological molecules like IFN-alpha, IFN-beta, IFN-gamma in animal models and patients. He pioneered the monitoring of patient tumor specimens to select molecular events specific to biological therapeutics that inform the impact on tumor site. The application of pharmacological principles to biological molecules has assisted in clinical use and led to the creation of the Immunopharmacology Targeted Therapy (ITT) program at MD Anderson Cancer Center, dedicated to the studies of biological agents. Dr. Rosenblum has characterized the in vitro and in vivo behavior of monoclonal antibodies and developed novel chemical conjugates. His research has resulted in over 200 peer-reviewed publications, 350 abstracts, and numerous patents. He has extensive experience in educational settings and has taught graduate courses in pharmacology.
