Biography

Professor Michael L. Roukes focuses on nanobiotechnology, nanotechnology, nanoscale physics, and nanoscale molecular mechanics. He is the Roshek Professor since 2018 and has led the Kavli Nanoscience Institute as Director from 2004 to 2006 and Co-Director from 2008 to 2013. Through his research, he integrates principles of physics, engineering, and biology, driving innovations in various applications within nanotechnology.
