Dr. Michael Schwartz

Biography

Michael C Schwartz, MD, is an Assistant Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine specializing in General Internal Medicine. He completed his medical education at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and subsequently underwent residency training in Internal Medicine at Boston University Medical Center. His academic interests are focused on medical education, particularly in Point of Care Ultrasound and bedside procedures. As the POCUS Director, he leads the development of the Internal Medicine Residency POCUS Curriculum and POCUS Pathway. With an emphasis on practical skills and teaching, Schwartz is dedicated to improving patient care and training future physicians in effective diagnostic techniques.
