Michael Udow has had an expansive and diversified career in symphonic and opera repertories, as well as contemporary solo and chamber music composition. He served as principal percussionist for the Santa Fe Opera from 1968 until his retirement in the 2009 season. His credentials include membership in the New Orleans Philharmonic, Summit Brass, and the dance/percussion duo Equilibrium, among other distinguished ensembles.
