Michael Volodarsky completed his PhD in Laboratory for Human Genetics at Ben-Gurion University in Israel in 2014. In 2018, he held the position of Genetic Analysis Specialist at the Molecular Diagnostics Division of London Health Sciences Centre in Ontario, where he gained experience interpreting NGS testing results across various indications. In 2020, he entered a two-year Genetic Genomic Diagnostics training program at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, focusing on Clinical Molecular Genetics and Cytogenetics. Following the successful completion of his clinical examinations, Dr. Volodarsky rejoined the IWK Clinical Genomics group as a Clinical Laboratory Geneticist, with a commitment to enhancing access to advanced genomic diagnostic technologies for patients throughout the Maritimes.
