Dr. Michael Wang

Biography

Michael Ke Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster University. He has a strong background in health research methodologies and medical education, having obtained his medical degree from the University of Ottawa. Wang's primary expertise lies in Cardiology and circulatory sciences, including cardiovascular diseases, as well as in surgical disciplines. He is currently a PhD Candidate focusing on Health Research Methodology at McMaster University, where he is involved in various research projects aimed at improving health outcomes. Wang has completed several prestigious fellowship programs including the Clinician Investigator Program and the Perioperative Vascular Fellowship, both at McMaster University. His comprehensive training also includes multiple residency programs in Internal Medicine and General Internal Medicine, reflecting his extensive experience in the field. Additionally, he is affiliated with the Population Health Research Institute, contributing to his research on population health and medical outcomes. As a researcher, Wang is committed to advancing the field through his work and ongoing studies.
