Biography

Michael S. Wasserman, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and serves as an Associate Program Director for the Boston Medical Center radiology residency program. He earned his MD from the Chobanian Avedisian School of Medicine and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Boston Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Wasserman's research interests include emergency and neuroradiology, medical education, innovation in education, quality improvement, and wellness. He is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in medicine and endeavors to address healthcare disparities. In recognition of his contributions, he has received multiple awards, including the GME Excellence Award in 2020 and the Marina Bernal Fernandez, M.D. Humanism Award in 2019, among others. He values the unique aspects of each individual and is dedicated to caring for the whole person, striving to improve wellness and quality of care in the exceptional community served by Boston Medical Center.
