Biography

Michael B. Yaffe is the David H. Koch Professor of Biological Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an attending surgeon at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. His research group focuses on understanding the protein kinase signaling pathways that control cellular responses, with a particular interest in the mechanisms governing DNA damage responses and cell cycle progression in the context of cancer therapy.
