Dr. Michail Kokkoris

Biography

Michail Kokkoris is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where his research intersects psychology and marketing. His primary focus is on the interplay between decision-making and identity, examining topics such as self-expression, self-control, authenticity, and individual differences in decision-making processes. His work has been published in prestigious journals like the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Harvard Business Review. Kokkoris has received numerous awards for his contributions to the field, including distinctions in internationally recognized journals and conferences. He has successfully attracted third-party funding from various national and international sources, including the European Commission and the German Research Foundation. In addition to his academic pursuits, he has significant teaching experience and has been a visiting scholar at renowned institutions including Stanford University and Nanyang Technological University.
