Biography

Michel Laroche is the Royal Bank Distinguished Professor of Marketing at Concordia University's John Molson School of Business. He holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur from École Centrale de Paris, an M.S.E. from Johns Hopkins University, and a Ph.D. from Columbia University. Dr. Laroche has published extensively in high-impact journals, contributing over 196 papers and co-authoring 26 textbooks in the field of consumer behavior, marketing communication, and digital marketing. He is recognized internationally for his research and has received numerous awards, including the Jacques-Rousseau Medal, and the ASAC Award for Excellence. His work has influenced both academic and practical approaches to marketing, particularly in regards to cultural influences on consumer engagement. He has served on various editorial boards and is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences. Laroche is known for his multidisciplinary research methodologies and has supervised numerous graduate theses across various disciplines in marketing.
