Biography

Michelle Dawson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry at Brown University. Her work is particularly centered on women's health, aiming to address historically understudied aspects of women's cancers. She employs quantitative research methods, including high-resolution imaging and in vitro models, to study the role of senescent cells in cancer development and microenvironmental remodeling. Additionally, she serves on various committees and is a standing member of the Cancer Cell Biology NIH study section.
