Biography

Michelle Go, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Duke Eye Center. She completed her Research Fellowship followed by a Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Surgery Fellowship at Duke. Before joining Duke, she held the position of Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Go specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of conditions such as tearing, amblyopia, strabismus, pediatric cataracts, and childhood glaucoma. Her research interests include home tonometry and optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging in children with glaucoma. Dr. Go received her BA in Biochemistry and MS in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, and her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Peoria. She also completed her internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina, where she served as Chief Resident.
