Biography

Dr. Michelle Graham is a Professor in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta, specializing in Cardiology. She obtained her MD from the University of Ottawa and completed her training in Internal Medicine at Western University and Cardiology at Dalhousie University. Dr. Graham further specialized in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Calgary. As a prominent figure in cardiac care, her research focuses on various aspects of cardiology including perioperative medicine, cardiac care for the elderly, and precision medicine. With significant contributions to the field, she has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, including high-impact studies in leading medical journals. Dr. Graham is actively involved in several leadership roles, including serving as Chair of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society's Scientific Program Committee and Associate Editor for the Canadian Journal of Cardiology.
